Erika:
I like the idea to get students to understand the elements of a story and for them to pick it out of a story. Will this board really help with second graders or do they need more hands on approach.

Jacqueline:
I like the idea of picking out words that they do not know and be able to look them up. Having games for vocabulary is a great idea but how will this teach them to use and understand words in a story. Games are a great idea for class but not every lesson they need structure.

Mary Katherine:
I like the idea of them watching a movie and seeing you read but how will this be interacting between the student and the lesson.  The bear put together lesson is a good idea.

Jennifer:
Science is always a fun lesson it can get eery child involved.  Learning about the world and its biomes is a great way for them to understand the world where they live and other places.  This is a good lesson plan.  Not sure if acting like the animal is a good idea may get out of hand.

Amanda:
Teaching a child to type a paper is a big step. How is acting out a chapter in a book helping to type? What is context clues, do the children already know, has there been a lesson on these clues already? The game activities are good I like bringing tv games into the class since they know how to play.

Jordan:
will they be bring the book home with them?  Going over the book is good, doing a hurricane book is a good informational book and this will help them vear away from the fictional books.  Showing the hurricane and what mother nature can do is good.  What subject would this be under though. Groups are always helpful for students. The experiment idea is great.

Johnathan:
A war lesson is an all time favorite.  Teaching a war lesson can be hard with so many political issues these days but history needs to be taught.  Having the main points in the war taught is great, got to have them in order.  Also need to have your information known personally.  Have the kids make a book of drawing from all the major events with information.
